Home Jumping during COVID

Pereybere, mauritius,

2020-2021 was definitely a weird period. We spent two months in lockdown in early 2020. It was quite a strict lockdown as we couldn't even walk out of the house except for groceries and only on specific days of the week.

After the first lockdown, we had a few months of normalcy, living on a COVID-free island. This turned out to be a great time because there were almost no tourists. In fact, anybody wanting to enter the country had to go through a two-week quarantine in a hotel. So we had the island all to ourselves! At the same time, Europe was hard-hit by COVID and implementing many strict lockdowns, so we felt very grateful to be in Mauritius.

Unfortunately, in the spring of 2021, a second wave of COVID hit, and we were back in lockdown - as strict as the first one. We were fortunate to have a house with a garden and a pool, so we tried to make the most out of it... and jump!

Here is a Home Jump, 8 years after the first one. So many things happened between those two pictures.
