Jumping at the Burj Khalifa

J. had signed us up for the Dubai Run. She always does that kind of thing and tells me afterwards. She knows that if she asked first, I'd probably try to push back 😅

Anyway, this one was a short 5k, so it wasn't too scary. The run was in Downtown Dubai. We arrived by metro at 7am, as recommended, and the place was packed, packed, packed! It turned out more than 300,000 participants had registered and showed up. It was quite a sight.

The only problem was that there were so many people, we couldn't realistically run at all. So we ended up having a nice stroll through the skyscrapers, enjoying the cool morning weather.

At least it gave us the chance for a great jumping pic in front of the iconic Burj Khalifa!
