Finally! After five hours at the Chinese border, we had to change the carriage bogies again (just like we did back in Belarus, which seemed ages ago). After spending our last night on the train, we finally arrived in China for a first stop in Datong.
There, they changed the Chinese orange coal locomotive we had at the border for a blue electric-powered one. At least we felt we saved some more trees running on electricity rather than coal.
Oh wait... where does most electricity in China come from? Damn it.
