Jumping in front of the Statue of Liberty

18 March, 2015 from New York City, United States Leave a Comment

Last jump in New-York, I’ve been joined by Arnaud, Sylvain B and Matthieu and we’ll soon start our roadtrip accross the USA.

But today, we just act like a plain real tourist and take the ferry to Liberty Island.

A few minutes after this  photo was taken, a huge rain shower started and we had to run for our lives under some trees… like everybody else 🙂

Jumping in le Mont-Saint-Michel

A small escape from Paris and we end up in Brittany to visit the Presqu’île (= “almost-Island”) of Le Mont-Saint-Michel.

Trying new Jumping styles in Bled

17 April, 2011 from Bled, Slovenia Leave a Comment

Jumping in Bled

I really did have to think a while before deciding to post this picture. I didn’t intend to look so Kawai / Kikoolol / Kute / <insert other girly adjectives starting with K here>…

But what the heck, surroundings, new Spring season and sunny weather might have gotten into my mood and ended up with this look 🙂

I tried to recover some charisma with another jump…

… but failed again.

Jumping in the Forbidden City

2 October, 2010 from Beijing, China Leave a Comment

The Forbidden City is at the very heart of the Chinese capital. It was the Chinese imperial palace from the Ming Dynasty to the end of the Qing Dynasty and it is HUGE ! It consists of 980 buildings with 8,707 bays of rooms and covers 720,000 m²!

But it can get a bit boring as, after a few minutes walking around, all buildings quickly look the same. This is when being with an awesome gang like Petulia, JP and Sylvain can turn a boring visit into the greatest fun. The “mot d’ordre” was : let’s make some stupid pictures !! And so we did. And many ! All of them are not jumping pics, so I cannot show them all here, for the sake of that website 🙂

We started with a Pay Jumping:

Jumping on the Great Wall

29 September, 2010 from Chengde, China Leave a Comment

The Great Wall is really stunning, and is definitely a must-see in China. It’s construction started as early as the 5th century BC and spanned until the 16th century AD. The wall as we can see it today is mostly from the latest Ming dynasty. It is the biggest architectural structure ever built, both in terms of length, surface and weight.

We went on a tour with our fellow friends from Beijing Downtown Backpackers hostel (hostel that I definitely recommend!) and spent 3 hours walking up, and down, and up, and down, and… the wall.

Sylvain and his unique style:
